Cheese School: The Science of Aged Cheeses
There’s a lot to love about cheese, and we’re celebrating all of its delicious qualities through a series of informational tastings called Cheese School 101*.
Hosted in the Tasting Room at Heinen’s Chagrin Falls, Heinen’s Specialty Cheesemonger and American Cheese Society Certified Cheese Professional, Shannon Welsh, will discuss all there is to know about a specific category of cheese while attendees taste a selection of featured cheeses paired with complimentary beverages.
The next installment of Heinen’s Cheese School is all about the art of aging cheeses. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn which styles of cheese can be aged and how they develop their delicious crystals while tasting a curated selection of artisan aged cheese with perfect pairings.
