Ingredients

  • Heinen’s Marinated Blackened Chicken Breasts
  • Fresh Express Hearts of Romaine
  • Primal Kitchen Caesar Dressing
  • Fresh Gourmet Italian Seasoned Croutons
  • BelGioioso Salad Blend Cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place a pan over high heat. Sear the chicken breasts on both sides until they begin to blacken. Transfer to the oven to finish cooking.
  2. Dress the romaine and place on salad plates.
  3. When the chicken is cooked, slice it and place on top of the romaine. Top with the Italian seasoned croutons and salad blend cheese.

In 1929, Joe Heinen opened the doors of a small butcher shop on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio, aiming to establish himself as the city’s purveyor of quality meats. As customers came into Heinen’s new shop for their meat purchases, they began asking him to carry groceries as well. Joe added homemade peanut butter, pickles and donuts and by 1933, business had grown enough to include a line of produce and canned goods. Heinen’s Grocery Store was born.
