Chicago and Cleveland Hot Dogs

How do you dress your hot dogs?
While ketchup and mustard are condiments that will never go out of style, the best way to enjoy Heinen’s premium all beef hot dogs is all dressed up with toppings that pay homage to Heinen’s two home cities: Cleveland and Chicago. These hot dogs are bursting with flavor from a delicious assortment of Heinen’s brand ingredients, which just so happen to cost an average of 25% less than national brands.
Most everyone is familiar with the common Chicago dog, which features savory pickles, fresh tomatoes and tangy relish toppings, but you may be asking yourself, “What is a Cleveland dog?” Otherwise known as a Polish Boy, a Cleveland dog generally consists of kielbasa, coleslaw, BBQ sauce and French fries. This recipe keeps all of those classic toppings, but swaps the kielbasa for a juicy Heinen’s premium all beef hot dog. In addition to their delicious dogs and toppings, Heinen’s offers brioche hot dog buns with a split top that’s perfect for holding as many toppings as your hunger desires.
These delicious dogs would be perfect for summer BBQs. If you plan to serve them to a crowd, prep all of the ingredients in advance and serve as a hot dog bar for guests to make their own creation.
