Easy Halibut Florentine

Ingredients
For the Halibut
- 1/3 cup Heinen’s breadcrumbs
- 2 Tbsp. Heinen’s butter
- 2 lbs. Heinen’s fresh halibut fillets
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Heinen’s extra virgin olive oil
For the Florentine Sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Heinen’s butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 cups Heinen’s milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. Heinen’s granulated garlic
- 1/2 tsp. Heinen’s granulated onion
- 1/4 cup Heinen’s parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup Heinen’s shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups Heinen’s spinach
- 1/3 cup Heinen’s breadcrumbs
- Lemon slices, for serving
Instructions
- Brown the breadcrumbs in the butter until golden brown.
- Pat the halibut fillets dry. Season the fish with the salt and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the olive oil and sear the fish for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the butter for the sauce. Once melted, the flour and whisk together until golden brown.
- Slowly add the milk and whisk until smooth. Season with the salt, pepper, granulated garlic, and granulated onion. Add the parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella and whisk until smooth.
- Add the spinach and stir until wilted.
- Add the fish to the pan and top with breadcrumbs and lemon slices. Serve immediately.
