Fresh Açaí Bowl

You and any guests joining you at the table will love the pop of color and the fresh ingredients. There are so many different variations when it comes to açai; this recipe makes easy to craft a bowl that fits your style and taste preferences.

For the Açaí Bowl

  • Sambazon organic açaí superfruit packs (
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple


  • 1 banana, sliced
  • Organic granola
  • Flaked coconut
  • Fresh blueberries
  • Fresh blackberries
  • Fresh raspberries
  • Fresh dragon fruit


  1. Combine all açaí ingredients in a blender. If the mixture is too thick, add more juice.
  2. Pour the mixture into a bowl and chill in the freezer.
  3. Remove from the freezer and add your desired toppings. Interchange ingredients, as needed, to fit your taste or dietary preference.

In 1929, Joe Heinen opened the doors of a small butcher shop on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio, aiming to establish himself as the city’s purveyor of quality meats. As customers came into Heinen’s new shop for their meat purchases, they began asking him to carry groceries as well. Joe added homemade peanut butter, pickles and donuts and by 1933, business had grown enough to include a line of produce and canned goods. Heinen’s Grocery Store was born.
