Green Goddess Halibut Burgers

These Green Goddess Halibut Burgers will be your new favorite summer sandwich!
Not only are they packed with nutrition, but each bite is bursting with flavor.
First, you’ll make the super easy green goddess sauce. Then, you’ll sear fresh Halibut from Heinen’s Seafood Department and bring it all together on a toasted Heinen’s brioche hamburger bun.
Green Goddess Halibut Burgers

Ingredients
For the Halibut Burger
- 2 fresh Halibut fillets
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Heinen’s brioche hamburger buns
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup cilantro
- Vigeo Gardens microgreens, for topping
For the Green Goddess Sauce
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup cilantro
- 1 Tbsp. lime juice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
Instructions
- Make the Green Goddess sauce. Combine the Greek yogurt, cilantro, lime juice, salt and garlic powder in a food processor. Process until smooth, then refrigerate.
- Pat the halibut fillets dry, then season both sides with salt and pepper. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the olive oil and halibut fillets. Sear for 4 minutes per side, until the fish is golden brown.
- Remove the halibut from the pan, then toast Heinen’s brioche hamburger bugs for one minute.
- Add a spoonful of the sauce to both buns. Add the seared halibut, cilantro, avocado slices and microgreens to the bottom bun. Top with the remaining bun and serve.
