Ingredients
For the Apples
- 6 honeycrisp apples, peeled, seeded and thickly sliced
- 1 Tbsp. Heinen's coconut oil, melted
- ¼ tsp. Heinen's nutmeg
- 1 tsp. Heinen's cinnamon
For the Topping
- 1 ½ cups rolled oats
- ½ cup Heinen's walnuts, roughly chopped
- 1 tsp. Heinen's cinnamon
- 3 Tbsp. Heinen's organic honey
- 2 Tbsp. Heinen's coconut oil
- Plant-based yogurt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Add the apples, coconut oil, nutmeg, and cinnamon to a bowl and mix until combined.
- Transfer the apples to a shallow casserole dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the oats, walnuts, cinnamon, honey, and coconut oil until completely combined.
- Add the oat mixture to the top of the apples and spread to cover.
- Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes, or until the oats are cooked.
- Serve with yogurt and more honey, if desired.
