Ingredients

For the Apples

  • 6 honeycrisp apples, peeled, seeded and thickly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. Heinen's coconut oil, melted
  • ¼ tsp. Heinen's nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. Heinen's cinnamon

For the Topping

  • 1 ½ cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup Heinen's walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 1 tsp. Heinen's cinnamon
  • 3 Tbsp. Heinen's organic honey
  • 2 Tbsp. Heinen's coconut oil
  • Plant-based yogurt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Add the apples, coconut oil, nutmeg, and cinnamon to a bowl and mix until combined.
  3. Transfer the apples to a shallow casserole dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the oats, walnuts, cinnamon, honey, and coconut oil until completely combined.
  5. Add the oat mixture to the top of the apples and spread to cover.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes, or until the oats are cooked.
  7. Serve with yogurt and more honey, if desired.
