Hot Pastrami Pull-Apart Sliders
The following recipe and photography was provided by recipe developer and food photographer, Ashley Durand of Plate & Pen.
Tailgate season is upon us, and nothing pairs better with a game day beverage than a hot, hand-held sandwich.
Assembling a delicious sandwich starts with premium ingredients, and Heinen’s has the best of the best, especially when it comes to deli meat. Made in-house since the second Heinen’s location opened on Taylor Road in Cleveland in the 1940s, Heinen’s roster of high-quality deli meats under the Two Brothers brand includes uncured corned beef, roast beef, uncured beef pastrami, turkey off the bone, uncured smoked turkey and grilled and marinated turkey.
These pull-apart sandwiches feature a handful of ingredients from Heinen’s including Two Brothers uncured beef pastrami, Heinen’s fluffy Hawaiian sweet rolls and Two Brothers Swiss cheese (also available pre-sliced in the Deli Department).
Layered in a baking pan, brushed with butter, honey and mustard and baked in the oven until warm and melted, they’re sure to be the MVP of any tailgate you attend this fall.
Why You’ll Love this Recipe
- It features premium deli meat. Produced today at Heinen’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Warrenville Heights, Ohio, Two Brothers deli meats are still made from the same recipes developed decades ago. They’re also free of nitrates and nitrites and sous-vide so they’re never overdone. Available in convenient, resealable grab-and-go packaging or sliced fresh by a Heinen’s Deli Associate, you simply can’t beat the quality of this deli meat.
- They’re easy to prep. With just 15 minutes of hands-on time and 20 minutes to bake, these sliders can be ready in no time.
- They’re easy to serve. Once they’re baked and bubbly, simply slice following the lines on the Hawaiian rolls and allow tailgaters to pull as many as they’d like out of the baking dish.
