If you’re not thankful for me yet, you’re about to be. I’ve got a treat for your taste buds and it’s one of my family’s favorite recipes – Chicken Bacon Ranch Dip! Chicken, bacon and ranch are what dreams are made of, and so is this dip. This is always requested by my family and I usually cannot gain access to the pool until I present this heavenly dip as payment.
The flavor combination of chicken, bacon and ranch has been around for eons. Every fast food chain seems to have a sandwich with this flavor combination, and rightfully so. Some things just work, and this is one of them. Being the dip connoisseur that I am, I decided one day to throw all these flavors into a skillet and bake it. The result was amazing and even better than expected. When you start with top quality ingredients, how can you go wrong!?
You can definitely use prepackaged bacon crumbles for this recipe, but let me ask you something: why would you do something so foolish when Heinen’s thick cut CARE Certified bacon is at your fingertips!?
This recipe calls for plenty of shortcuts, like rotisserie chicken, but I don’t take shortcuts when it comes to bacon. The fresh, thick cut bacon crumbles add an amazing texture to the creamy dip, not to mention next-level flavor. I like to serve this dip with Nature Fresh peppers and other assorted vegetables.
Keto Chicken Bacon Ranch Dip
Servings: 6
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Heinen's rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 7.5 oz. Heinen's cream cheese
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1 ¼ cup cheddar cheese
- 2/3 cup Heinen's thick cut CARE Certified bacon, cooked, crumbled and divided
- 1/3 cup fresh parsley, minced
- 1 Tbsp. Two Brothers sweet & smokey seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350° F.
- Allow the cream cheese to come to room temperature and stir until smooth. Add the ranch and sour cream and stir.
- Add the chicken, 2/3 of the bacon, cheese, parsley and Two Brothers seasoning. Mix until combined. If you want to keep this recipe completely sugar free, replace the seasoning with 1 tsp. smoked paprika.
- Place the mixture into a cast iron skillet and top with extra seasoning. This adds great color and extra kick. Place into the oven.
- After 25 minutes, top the dip with the remaining bacon. Cook for 10 more minutes.
- Remove the skillet from the oven and top with extra parsley. Serve with veggies, crackers or just dig in with a fork. Enjoy!
