Heinen’s rotisserie chicken is a fresh and versatile ingredient when you’re short on time but craving the flavors of a home-cooked meal.
Located in the Deli Department of your local Heinen’s, it makes a great shortcut for entertaining too. While many people simply eat the meat as is or add it to cold lunchtime sandwiches, it has so much more potential.

Ingredients
Buffalo Chicken
- 2 cups Heinen's rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup buffalo sauce
- ½ cup ranch dressing
- ¾ cup Heinen's shredded cheddar cheese
Chicken Salad
- 3 cups Heinen's rotisserie chicken, chopped
- ½ yellow onion, peeled and small diced
- 3 celery ribs, small diced
- 1 garlic clove, finely minced
- ¼ cup shaved almonds
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Sliced red grapes (optional)
BBQ Chicken Sandwich
- 2 Tbsp. Heinen's olive oil
- 1 yellow onion, peeled and small diced
- 3 garlic cloves, finely minced
- 4 cups Heinen's rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 1 cup Two Brothers BBQ sauce
Instructions
Buffalo Chicken Dip
- Preheat the oven to 350° F.
- Add all of the ingredients to a large bowl and mix until combined and smooth.
- Transfer to a casserole dish and bake at 350° F for 20 minutes. Serve with veggies and crackers.
Chicken Salad
- Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and mix until combined.
- Serve by itself or as a sandwich.
BBQ Chicken Sandwich
- Add the oil to a large saucepan over medium-low heat and cook the onions and garlic for 5-10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
- Stir in the chicken, then mix in the BBQ sauce until coated.
- Serve the BBQ chicken by itself or as a sandwich.
