One sip of this smoothie will have you feeling “just peachy.”

Slightly more complex than the traditional “beginner smoothie,” this creation features a silky smooth combination of frozen peaches, coconut cream and unsweetened nut milk, which results in a taste and texture that mimics the beloved creamsicles we all bought from the ice cream truck as children.

Peaches & Cream Smoothie Ingredients

While those ingredients serve your taste buds, the addition of flax meal and protein or collagen powder will provide your body with extra nourishment and keep you feeling full until your next meal.

  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder or collagen of choice
  • 1/4 cup Heinen's canned coconut cream
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened nut milk of choice
  • 1 Tbsp. flax meal

  1. Add the can of coconut cream to a bowl.
  2. Using a hand mixer, whip the coconut cream until fluffy. Set aside.
  3. Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender, except for the coconut cream, and blend until smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add more unsweetened nut milk until your desired consistency is achieved.
  4. To create a swirl effect, spoon some of the whipped coconut cream into a drinking glass, then pour in the smoothie.
  5. Top with additional coconut cream and grain-free granola, if desired.

Heinen's Grocery Store

By Heinen's Grocery Store

In 1929, Joe Heinen opened the doors of a small butcher shop on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio, aiming to establish himself as the city’s purveyor of quality meats. As customers came into Heinen’s new shop for their meat purchases, they began asking him to carry groceries as well. Joe added homemade peanut butter, pickles and donuts and by 1933, business had grown enough to include a line of produce and canned goods. Heinen’s Grocery Store was born.
