You don’t need to travel to Germany to indulge in an authentic Oktoberfest feast thanks to the incredible selection of German-inspired food at Heinen’s.

Celebrate Oktoberfest by making this crispy pork schnitzel drizzled with a mouthwatering mustard cream sauce! This dish requires minimal prep time thanks to Heinen’s premade pork schnitzel, which can be found in the Heinen’s Meat Department.

For those that may not be well versed in Oktoberfest fare, schnitzel is a dish that originated in Germany and Austria. It features pork that is pounded thin with a meat tenderizer, breaded and fried. It is often paired with a creamy sauce and always tastes best washed down with beer.

If you’ve breaded and fried food before, you know that it can be time consuming and messy. Heinen’s knows this and created their own ready-to-cook pork schnitzel that is pre-breaded, so all you have to do is fry it up and enjoy!

Make this a festive feast in only 30 minutes by serving it with a side of Heinen’s Daily Bites mashed potatoes and an easy salad made with Heinen’s super energy power salad blend.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Heinen’s Pork Schnitzel is High Quality and Ready-to-Cook. Heinen’s pork schnitzel is breaded in-house, saving you the hassle of breading the meat yourself. Additionally, Heinen’s pork comes from Heritage Breed Duroc animals, which are known for their superior genetics. Heinen’s pork is the gold standard for marbling and taste!
  • The Pork Schnitzel Can be Pan Fried or Baked. If you prefer your schnitzel pan-fried, feel free to fire up the stove, but if you’re looking for less mess, you can easily prepare Heinen’s ready-to-cook pork schnitzel in the oven.
  • The Flavor is Elevated with a Simple Homemade Cream Sauce: The taste of Heinen’s Heritage Breed Duroc pork is second to none, but the addition of a simple sauce is never a bad idea. This mustard cream sauce comes together in a matter of minutes with everyday ingredients, including an authentic German-inspired mustard.
