What’s For Dinner? Zoodles Caprese

Ingredients

  • Spiralized Zucchini
  • Heinen's Basil Pesto
  • Hickory Harvest Walnut Halves
  • Non Pareil Capers
  • Tomz Mixed Snacking Tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Roughly chop the walnuts and capers and halve the tomatoes.
  2. Heat a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add a small amount of Heinen’s olive oil and sauté the walnuts, capers and tomatoes until the tomatoes begin to give off some liquid.
  3. Add the zucchini and pesto, then sauté until the zucchini is heated through.
  4. Enjoy with your favorite garden salad.

In 1929, Joe Heinen opened the doors of a small butcher shop on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio, aiming to establish himself as the city’s purveyor of quality meats. As customers came into Heinen’s new shop for their meat purchases, they began asking him to carry groceries as well. Joe added homemade peanut butter, pickles and donuts and by 1933, business had grown enough to include a line of produce and canned goods. Heinen’s Grocery Store was born.
