Hit a Home Run with these Ballpark Favorites from Heinen’s

There’s no better way to celebrate the Major League Baseball (MLB) season than with classic ballpark foods and beverages.

Fans of the game love sinking their teeth into all kinds of grub, from Cracker Jacks and cotton candy to hot dogs, nachos, and popcorn. Whether you’re hosting a baseball-themed party or enjoying concessions from the comfort of your couch, your local Heinen’s has an all-star lineup of beloved ballpark foods and drinks that you can enjoy from the first pitch to the final run!

1. Heinen’s Premium All Beef Hot Dogs and Heinen’s Brioche Split Top Buns
What’s in the lead-off spot? It’s our classic all beef hot dogs and brioche buns ready to smack it out of the park.

Our all beef dogs are beloved for good reason. They contain no artificial flavors, synthetic colors, phosphates, fillers, or byproducts, but still offer the classic ballpark taste you know and crave!

A good hot dog is determined by the dog-to-bun ratio and our French-style brioche split top buns fit these all beef hot dogs like a glove. Fluffy, buttery, and made with no preservatives, artificial flavors, or synthetic colors, they’re an elevated vessel that won’t get soggy!

2. Heinen’s Soft Pretzel Twist
Like our brioche split top buns, our soft pretzels contain no preservatives or artificial flavors.  Simply pop them into the microwave for three minutes, add the signature chunky salt and you’ll have a hot pretzel for the win.

These warm, chewy pretzels are best served with ballpark mustard or queso cheese dip. Lucky for you, we have two classic mustards and a deliciously creamy and spicy queso below!

3. Stadium Mustard
No hot dog or burger is complete without mustard, and Stadium Mustard is the perfect topping to help you score that classic ballpark flavor. Not only is it beloved in ballparks and backyards around the world, but this Stadium Mustard is also a hit with celebrity chefs and home cooks. Grab a bottle today to top off your dogs, burgers, sandwiches, pretzels and more!

4. Bertman Original Ball Park Mustard
Founded in the 1920s by Joe Bertman, this historic mustard brand is known for its aromatic, spicy, and delicious recipe. Customers say it “…makes the game even better—even when our team is behind.”

With Bertman Mustard, it doesn’t taste so bad to lose—because the bold, classic flavor of the ballpark is always a winner.

5. Chicas Authentic Corn Tortilla Chips and Desert Pepper Chile con Queso
Who could make it through 9 whole innings without concession stand-inspired nachos? We have the ultimate dynamic duo to fill your plate. Start with a heaping pile of Chicas Authentic Corn Tortilla Chips, made with clean ingredients, baked in oil, and seasoned to perfection.

Top off the tortilla chips with Desert Pepper Chile con Queso, the newest addition to the brand’s award-winning line of salsas crafted in the Southwest region of the U.S. This delicious queso dip is made with creamy golden cheddar cheese and blended with green and red chiles. The queso kicks up the spice and takes your plate of chips to a whole new level.

6. Heinen’s Dry Roasted Peanuts and Heinen’s Honey Roasted Peanuts
Peanuts and Cracker Jacks are the “OGs” of ballpark snacks that will never go out of style. At Heinen’s, we created our own spin on these classic snacks with our dry and honey roasted peanuts. Ready for the best part? There is no messy shelling required. Just pop them into your mouth and enjoy the salty, crunchy goodness of these ballpark staples.

7. Lesser Evil Himalayan Gold Organic Popcorn
You didn’t think we’d forget popcorn, did you? There is no better time to enjoy popcorn than baseball season. It’s an easy, tasty, and shareable snack whether you’re at the ballpark or home.

Lesser Evil’s Himalayan Gold Organic Popcorn contains only three ingredients: organic popcorn, extra-virgin coconut oil, and Himalayan pink salt. The brand believes minimal ingredients and processing deliver maximum flavor and benefits—and we couldn’t agree more. One cup of this popcorn is only 40 calories, but what it lacks in calories it makes up for in buttery flavor! That’s what we call a grand slam snack.

8. Jonny Pops Cotton Candy Cloud Popsicles
With warm weather days on the horizon, these Organic Cotton Candy Cloud JonnyPops are the perfect refreshing treat. Every layer is a different nostalgic flavor of cotton candy! JonnyPops are made with simple ingredients and are free from artificial dyes, making them a treat you can feel good about eating and sharing!

9. Heinen’s Cookies & Cream Ice Cream
This is one for those who crave a more indulgent snack during the ballgame! Made with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sandwich cookie pieces, our Cookies & Cream Ice Cream is a decadent treat for adults and kids alike. Best of all, it contains zero artificial flavors or colors but does not cut any corners when it comes to delicious taste.

10. Great Lakes Brewing Co. Midwest IPA
We know we’re heading into extra innings with these last two refreshments, but we couldn’t leave our favorite beers off the list.

The Midwest IPA is a cool game-day ale crafted by Cleveland’s own Great Lakes Brewing Company. Nicknamed the “unofficial IPA of Midwest Nice,” this brew delivers the ideal amount of hops for a mild-mannered finish. Enjoy it with a ballpark hot dog, burger, or pierogies to enrich the experience.

11. Maplewood Brewery & Distillery Son of Juice Hazy IPA
Hailing from the “Windy City,” this IPA from Maplewood Brewery & Distillery brings all the summer vibes. A refreshing sip of this soft-bodied, hazy ale delivers notes of tropical fruit along with Mosaic, Simcoe, and Nugget hops. Best of all, this brew is available year-round, so you can enjoy it across all the baseball seasons—spring, summer and fall!

Heinen's Grocery Store

By Heinen's Grocery Store

In 1929, Joe Heinen opened the doors of a small butcher shop on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio, aiming to establish himself as the city’s purveyor of quality meats. As customers came into Heinen’s new shop for their meat purchases, they began asking him to carry groceries as well. Joe added homemade peanut butter, pickles and donuts and by 1933, business had grown enough to include a line of produce and canned goods. Heinen’s Grocery Store was born.
