Peanut Butter & Jelly Freezer Fudge

Peanut Butter & Jelly Freezer Fudge

  • 2 cups Heinen’s organic freshly ground peanut butter
  • 2/3 cup Heinen’s organic coconut oil
  • 2/3 cup Heinen’s organic maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup Smucker’s grape jelly

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, add the coconut oil and microwave on high in 30-second intervals until liquefied.
  2. Add the peanut butter and maple syrup to the coconut oil and microwave for another 15 seconds. Mix well until creamy and smooth.
  3. Pour the peanut butter mixture into a 9×13 baking dish lined with parchment paper. Spread it around and all the way up to the corners of the baking dish.
  4. Add horizontal lines of grape jelly on top of the peanut butter fudge mixture. Run a knife through the grape jelly vertically to create a chevron look, or create small circles for a swirl effect.
  5. Place in the freezer for 25-30 minutes to set.
  6. Slice and enjoy!

Heinen's Grocery Store

By Heinen's Grocery Store

In 1929, Joe Heinen opened the doors of a small butcher shop on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio, aiming to establish himself as the city’s purveyor of quality meats. As customers came into Heinen’s new shop for their meat purchases, they began asking him to carry groceries as well. Joe added homemade peanut butter, pickles and donuts and by 1933, business had grown enough to include a line of produce and canned goods. Heinen’s Grocery Store was born.

  1. YEAH ! I found YOUR post of the Peanut Butter Fudge !
This fudge is FINALLY the ONE fudge that I want in my go-to larder, freezer, and recipe box !
Its sweetness is JUST RIGHT; i.e., comparatively mild sweetness and not overpowering the taste buds.
It is creamy and not rock hard even after having been stored in the freezer.
The peanut butter taste is there and again not WHAM – like in its pronouncement.
Cuts well; it square holds its shape and does not melt atop the fingertips.
PERFECT especially to start the day with its splash of grape jelly color !
